Luotsari Oy was founded in 2014 in Vantaa. It is a small business offering social-work services, primarily in the Uusimaa region. Our values are openness, humanity, a resource- and solution-oriented approach, and positivity.
I have a Master of Science degree and a degree in social work. During my career, I have worked in the substance-abuse field, children’s foster care, along with shorter periods in mental-health care and care for released offenders. My longest employment has been at child-protection non-institutional care services, during which I have worked with children, youth, and families. Additionally, I have trained as a neuropsychiatric coach and in crises work.
In my spare time, my hobbies are yoga, swimming, jogging and reading. I love to go to handball matches as a spectator.
I am one of the two founders of Luotsari Oy. I have a Bachelor of Social Services degree (YAMK), have trained as both a neuropsychiatric coach and an animal-assisting coach. I have also passed preparatory studies of family therapy in social pedagogy and psychotherapy in a university of applied sciences. I have worked at a day-care centre and a parish, and as a social counsellor in a JOPO (flexible basic education) class in the child-protection field, a family social worker, an intense family social worker, as a counsellor at a juvenile home, and as a supervising counsellor.
My hobbies and interests include service dogs (especially searching and rescuing humans), reading, baking, gardening, and floorball.
I joined the Luotsari Team at the beginning of 2017. I am a community pedagogue (YAMK) and a neuropsychiatric coach. I have a long work history among youth and families, totalling 13 years of youth- and child-welfare work, at both institutions and non-institutional care.
My hobbies include spending time outdoors in the wilderness, learning from nature, and all sports. Additionally, I love to read and play the ukulele.
